The number of the beast is SPIRITUAL, not physical. When the bible says the mark "will be on the forehead or on the hands", it means that those people "marked" by Satan will have evil thoughts and/or do evil deeds. The reference to people without the mark being unable to buy or sell means that evil will be the "currency" of the day. People will be rewarded (either monetarily or materially) for the BAD things they do. Since Jesus stated that the day will come when it will be considered "good" to kill Christians, we can assume the in the End Times there will be a "dead or alive – preferably dead" reward out for Christians.

This is parallel in thought to the idea of a Jewish PHYLACTERY. A Phylactery is a little box that contains a prayer or verse from scripture. the ancient Jews (and even some today) would tie this box to their forehead (like a bandanna) so that they would "think" about that verse all day long. or they would tie it to their arms in order to "do God’s Work" all day long.

AS for actually taking the mark, the bible says that it is FORCED. Now, you ALWAYS have a choice to refuse to take a mental mark — Satan cannot MAKE you do anything! So we have to assume that Satan’s followers will use physical means to force people to take the mark — probably through torture. And the coercion might come through torturing someone else — like, torturing and raping your wife while you watch, or hacking off the limbs and disemboweling your children.

But YES, they KNOW they have the mark, because they will make a DECISION to take it. It may be a forced decision, but it is their decision none the less. But being forced, it is a FALSE MARK. It really doesn;t mean ANYTHING — typical of the lies Satan tells.

Just like Jesus — except that Jesus never forces anyone to believe in HIM, and HIS "mark" is TRUE. You, and only you, can make that choice. Jesus NEVER forces himself on anyone.

Should I take my brother up on his offer?
Let me give you the background to my question first: Me and my brother we’re raised by a single mother who often had to work two jobs, and leave us with baby sitters. Our father divorced our mother, when I was barely 2 and my brother was 4. He (our father) was not an active part of our lives when we we’re growing up,and he is still not welcome in our lives, because of what he did to my brother and me as children (my father physically abused me and my brother when we would go visit him). Me and my brother struggled to have a "normal" childhood with an often absent mother, and a non-existent father. We are both well adjusted adults now, and love our children more then we can describe.

Yesterday, I got an email from my brother, and this is what it said (I copied and pasted it here).

"Hey Sis, how are you doing? We’re all doing well here. Not much snow, but I’m thankful for that. The reason why I’m writing you this message at 2 a.m. in the morning, is because we have been thinking about you and the kids a lot lately. I see how you struggle working two jobs, raising 3 children, and going to school full-time. We both know what it’s like to be raised by a single mom, who really wasn’t around much when we we’re kids. I know living with mom and grandma is tough, and they are critical of how you raise your children. This really upsets you quite a bit. But me and the wife have been thinking very hard about your situation, and we would like to propose an idea to you.

Since great-grandma died and left us those 8 pieces of property, they have been sitting empty for the better part of a year. I’ve sold all 4 of my properties, and now I’m waiting for them to close. This should happen in the next 60 days give or take. I know you have sold 3 of your 4 properties, and you still have the family ranch in Texas, that Mr. Rawlins is leasing from you at the moment. This is where my offer comes in. I don’t want you to raise the kids without a father in their life. I want to do what Uncle Bill did for me and you, and be the father that your children need. I want to have an active part in their life.

This is what we have thought about doing: Sher has 1 one more of RN school left, and I have 14 months left in Culinary School. Clingy guy, way too much too soon..what do I do?
So, this is an interesting story. I went out with a few friends to a concert downtown, and had never even heard of the band that was to be playing that night. Well, as they were all getting their equipment set up on stage, I noticed one of the band members and automatically thought he was really attractive. So the band starts playing, and this band member and I constantly exchange stares throughout the show….After the show, a friend jokingly grabs the guy (he came out to talk to fans) and told him I wanted to meet him. So one of the stage managers or whatever pulled me backstage, where this guy was waiting for me. We start talking, he gets my number, I get his…he introduces me to the band, we click…and then he asks if he can kiss me…so we kiss (it was really great)….but unfortunately they had to leave, to get on the road. Meanwhile, while my friends and I are on our way home, this guy is texting me, nonstop saying things like "I’ve never been so attracted to someone before"..and saying other things such as "our names sound so good together"…I mean it was the perfect night…very dream-like, I was really excited about this guy! and of course because i’ve had a few, i’m a little oblivious to the creepiness. Well, I finally get home..go to bed, he calls me……and we talk for awhile. He seems nice enough. Well then he calls me at the butt crack of dawn, to talk about random pointlessness……Anyway, since then he’s been texting incessantly, and calling nonstop, I just want some space!! What I thought was a teenage fairytale coming true (being with a musician)…turned out to be a creepy nightmare!! I’m really not sure how to handle him, and telling him I’m not interested is out the question..however cowardly that might be, I don’t want to hurt the man’s feelings. What to do?

Akira Kurosawa. The greatest director ever. Nearly all of his movies are considered classics. Many of his movies were remade in America or influences American Cinema:

Yojimbo, based on Red Harvest, was remade as Eastwood’s A Fistful of Dollars and Bruce Willis’ Last Man Standing.

The Hidden Fortress and it’s two bumbling characters were the influence on George Lucas for Star Wars and C3PO and R2-D2.

He was able to turn Shakespeare into Japanese Period pieces: The Throne of Blood was his take on Macbeth and Ran (Chaos) was his take on King Lear.

His movie Rashomon was the first movie to show the same incident but from differing point of views, later remade as The Outrage with Paul Newman. It also influenced Zhang Yimou’s Hero.

The Seven Samurai, one of the greatest action movies ever made was remade as The Magnificent Seven.

Many, many great directors list Kurosawa as a undeniable influence on modern film making.

I think that list is pretty good.
I cant say I know all of those so you just gave me some suggestions
But I would drop Ah! My Goddes completely (Never liked it)
Akira is definetly a great one and ghost in the shell is alwas a winner along with the grave of the fireflies.

Well most of them r my fav animes of all time like Ah My Goddess(I have burnt it on DVD and always loves to watch this awesome anime whenever I feel bored).
Aisheturuze Baby is an underrated but classic anime(really it hurts me that this anime never got as much of credit that it really deserve)
Arjuna is an unique anime which is quite balanced with environment message and entertainment.
Comic Party is hilarious and Death-Note well its one of a kind.But I think Vampire Knight is not good as people here really likes to say about that..to me Vampire Knight is awful.

How do I get the crank bearings out of my Blaster?
I have split the case, and removed the crankshaft and bearing seals. I want to replace the the crank Bearings. What is the best way to to get them out with out damaging the case? Also, when it is time to install the new crank do I need to use the Yamaha Installing pot tool? I can’t find this tool anywhere.

Well Yamaha Service Manager 1980-90 is correct in most of what he says but he left some stuff out, sounds like he still gets his check from the dealer. Split your cases, more than likely the crank will stay in one side or the other. If this is the case that makes removing the bearings easier as the one on the crank you should be able to get off without to much strain. As for the bearing in the case, he is correct, heat it up, I suggest I propane style torch using Map Gas (it gets hotter). You will want to take the case that has the bearing in it and freeze it over night, also put your new bearings in the freezer as well. After the case is frozen, remove it from the freezer and heat up the case around the bearing trying not to heat the bearing (aluminum warms faster then steel), once the case is good and warm then flip it over and with a punch and a gentle tap of a hammer on the inner race of the bearing it should just pop out after a few taps. Once you have the bearing out then you can remove the seal if you haven’t already done so. Clean the surface that the bearing sits in very well, I suggest carb cleaner or something of the sort. After it is clean heat it back up, go grab your new bearings out of the freezer and drop them right in. As long as you have the case hot enough the bearings should push right in. Let cool to room temperature and then reassemble. Put the transmission back into the case, Yamabond the mateing surfaces of the cases and push them together. I have a piece of pipe that I have made to fit onto the case at the crank bearing, you can use something similer. Then press the cases together slowly making sure that the transmission is not binding with anything and the crank spins free. After they are together put your center case bolts and and finish assembly.

Heat the case up and tap on old bearings. .
A hotplate works but you’ll probably be unpopular when the oil starts smoking in the kitchen. Its best tto use Yamaha tool to pull crank back into case. you may have to take it to dealer for this. ( case can get distorted or crank damaged if you hammer it in)
