Clingy guy, way too much too soon..what do I do?
So, this is an interesting story. I went out with a few friends to a concert downtown, and had never even heard of the band that was to be playing that night. Well, as they were all getting their equipment set up on stage, I noticed one of the band members and automatically thought he was really attractive. So the band starts playing, and this band member and I constantly exchange stares throughout the show….After the show, a friend jokingly grabs the guy (he came out to talk to fans) and told him I wanted to meet him. So one of the stage managers or whatever pulled me backstage, where this guy was waiting for me. We start talking, he gets my number, I get his…he introduces me to the band, we click…and then he asks if he can kiss me…so we kiss (it was really great)….but unfortunately they had to leave, to get on the road. Meanwhile, while my friends and I are on our way home, this guy is texting me, nonstop saying things like "I’ve never been so attracted to someone before"..and saying other things such as "our names sound so good together"…I mean it was the perfect night…very dream-like, I was really excited about this guy! and of course because i’ve had a few, i’m a little oblivious to the creepiness. Well, I finally get home..go to bed, he calls me……and we talk for awhile. He seems nice enough. Well then he calls me at the butt crack of dawn, to talk about random pointlessness……Anyway, since then he’s been texting incessantly, and calling nonstop, I just want some space!! What I thought was a teenage fairytale coming true (being with a musician)…turned out to be a creepy nightmare!! I’m really not sure how to handle him, and telling him I’m not interested is out the question..however cowardly that might be, I don’t want to hurt the man’s feelings. What to do?
if he texts you just don’t answer him for awhile. then later tell him you lost your phone.
